It’s that time of year. In the literary calendar, the month of August is that blasé space between all of the book hoopla of June and July’s great “beach reads” and the much-anticipated literary debuts of autumn. Keeping this in mind, here at Book Club Babble, we thought of providing you with a nice little list of new movie releases based on some of your favorite books.
Me Before You
I hate to start with some bad news, but those of us who were anticipating the film adaptation of JoJo Moyes’ Me Before You will have to wait. Me Before You is a love story that does two things: it brings together two people with very little in common, and then asks, “What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?”
Originally set to be released in August of this year, the release date has been moved back a whole year, to June 3, 2016. It’s disappointing, but probably worth the wait.

This is great! Any word as to why Me Before You was postponed? Have they even filmed it? Loved the updates. Thanks!
