Look at all these books!
We love reading, we love books and we love children. It made perfect sense to partner with WePAC (West Philadelphia Alliance for Children) during our December subscription drive. We started a campaign that for every 10 new subscriptions in December we would donate 1 new book to them. We were able to donate 23 new books to WePAC!
WePAC is doing such amazing work. Their mission is to promote childhood literacy by engaging volunteers in Philadelphia public schools through re-opening and staffing libraries and academic mentoring. WePAC is currently in 14 Philadelphia schools! It was our pleasure to meet Heather Farber and Rachel George as we dropped off the books to them.
So, THANK YOU to all our new subscribers, and to all of you who have referred our site to your friends. We are grateful for such a loyal following, and we will continue to work hard to provide great content to encourage a love of books and reading!
